Bereavement Support St. Malachy Parish in Kennedy Township will sponsor a bereavement program starting Thursday, Sept. 16, for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. For information, call 412-771-5483. Divorced and Separated Support • Good Shepherd Parish in Braddock has started a separated and divorced ministry. A support group began meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 18, and will meet for 13 weeks on Wednesdays from 7-8:45 p.m. at the Sacred Heart campus of Good Shepherd Parish, 1600 Brinton Road in Braddock Hills. For more information, call 412-600-3932. • SS. John and Paul Parish in Franklin Park and St. Richard Parish in Richland Township will sponsor a support group for those separated and divorced. The group will meet on Mondays from 7-8:45 p.m., beginning Sept. 13, in the social hall of St. Richard. The DivorceCare group is a 13-week program that explores all aspects of divorce and helps in the healing process. Pre-registration is not required. RESTORING THE INTEGRITY OF MEDICINE The Pittsburgh Guild of the Catholic Medical Association will hold a Mass and meeting on Sunday, Sept. 19, with Mass at 9 a.m. in the Holy Family Chapel of UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh’s Uptown neighborhood, followed by a breakfast program and talk in Clark Auditorium. Franciscan Father Daniel Pattee, associate professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, will speak on “Restoring the Integrity of Medicine: An Imperative for Christian Anthropology.” Cost is $10. The mission will be conducted by Vincentian Father Ron Hoye, who is on the staff of DePaul University in Chicago. The mission will include Mass and homily Monday, Sept. 27, through Thursday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. The mission is designed to be a time of special grace, personal growth, spiritual refreshment and invigoration, and an opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation. The choral ensemble presents concerts primarily in December and May, and performs a variety of popular and classical music, as well as charity performances. Tiny Tot Program The Catholic Youth Association of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for the Tiny Tot Program at the Stephen Foster Community Center, 286 Main St. in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.
